Due to the winter storm during the Student Government election voting period, many students were unable to vote. To provide the opportunity for all students, voting will be available on Friday, March 5, 2021. Enrolled Texas State students who did not cast their votes, may log-in to vote between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

As a Student Government Election candidate, know what you must do and when you must do it by viewing the Student Government Election Timeline.

Go to the online Financial Disclosure form to complete and submit your Student Government Election campaign related expenses by the deadline.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTION POLICIES and PROCEDURES

There are many policies, procedures and rules to follow as a Student Government Election candidate. Below are links to the frequently needed ones.

The Student Government Constitution and the Student Government Code of Laws (also known as the Student Government Code or S.G.C.) contain Election related policies and procedures. The Election Code is Title III within the Student Government Code.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTION CONTACTS

Make contact about the Student Government Election to appeal an Election Board decision, report an Election Code violation, request an Election Code Advisory Opinion (also known as an interpretation request), and ask general questions.
