Supreme Court Justices
Chief Justice: William Frank-Cadoree
William Frank-Cadoree was appointed by President Corey Benbow. He is currently a Senior pursuing a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History. He has served on the Supreme Court for a year in the Associate Justice capacity before becoming Chief Justice. As Chief Justice William Frank-Cadoree will ensure experience in the leadership of the court through its navigation of the Constitution.
Associate Justice: Iliana Figueroa
Iliana Figueroa was appointed by former President Ruben Becerra in Fall 2018. She is classified as a Senior with a major in Criminal Justice and a double minor in Forensic Psychology and Theater. Iliana has held multiple leadership positions in student organizations, helped organize local fundraisers and committed countless hours of community service.
Associate Justice: Joshua Clarke
Joshua Clarke was appointed by President Corey Benbow in Fall 2019. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas State University and is currently a graduate student pursuing his Master of Arts in Legal Studies. Joshua served as Election Board Chairman in Spring 2019 and is currently a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Political Science and a Legal Intern for the Hays County District Attorney Office.
Associate Justice: Yunuen Alvarado Bustos
Yunuen Alvarado Bustos was appointed by President Corey F. Benbow. She is currently a senior pursuing a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in Diversity Studies. Alvarado Bustos has been involved in a variety of student and community organizations, which include previously presiding over the Underrepresented Student Advisory Council (USAC), she is also serving as Programs Coordinator for the Student Community of Progressive Empowerment (SCOPE). In addition, Alvarado Bustos has served on the University President's DACA Task Force and the University Star Advisory Committee.
Judicial Advocate General: Alexia Malcom
Alexia Malcom was appointed by Chief Justice William Frank-Cadoree. She is a Freshman student pursuing a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Honors Studies. She uplifts her community through volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House and creating her own community project, Blankets for Hope. Alexia is committed to serving her fellow Texas State Students as Judicial Advocate General.
