Welcome to the Student Government Website!

Check out some of what Student Government has been accomplishing on behalf of students.

Take a minute to read a welcome letter from the Student Body President.

Where can you park?

We know that there isn't many places for students to park, but have you heard about the Mill Street Lot? This lot has over 900 spots! The bus that picks up at this spot takes you directly to the Quad then to the LBJ bus loop and back to Mill Street. This is the quickest route for our commuter students. Take advantage of this great location.

Our Office Hours

Our offices are located in LBJ Student Center fourth floor in room 4-5.1. Our doors are always open, please feel free to stop by to speak to a student government representative. The President and Vice President are often times in the office but to guarantee a meeting with them please call a head and schedule an appointment, you can call at 512.245.1274.

Senate Meetings

Senate meetings are held every Monday night starting 7 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center Teaching Theater on the 4th floor. Our first meeting in the Fall will be August 24, 2015. All meetings are open to the public, so students can see the difference Student Government makes at this university.  Students are encouraged to come voice their opinions about issues they are having during our open forum time of the meeting.

House Meetings

House meetings are held every other Friday starting at 1:00 in JCK 460, all meetings are open to the public. All meetings are open to the public, so students can see the difference Student Government makes at this university.  Students are encouraged to come voice their opinions about issues they are having during our open forum time of the meeting.
