Freshman Council

What is Freshman Council?

Freshman Council is a part of the Texas State University Student Government and focuses on creating a fun and exciting learning environment for Texas State freshmen who are interested in serving their fellow Bobcats. The Freshman Council prepares each class for future service in Student Government and Texas State University.

The Freshman Council hosts a Freshman Forum, where freshmen students can come and speak to representatives from the university and freshman class. The Freshman Council also coordinates a High School Leadership Conference with local high schools to encourage college attendance and to enhance university and community relations.
